| MOREY VIDEOS 6/16/08 1:03 PM Morey pro rider and big wave crazy man Andre Botha stopped by the morey offices in January 2008 and checked out his new board models which hit the shelves in spring 2008. As you can see by this video, Andre is a very colorful kid at the ripe age of 26. This is a video from the annual Morey Boogie Outerbanks Pro/Am contest which went down in Novemeber 2007. This years past event brought out more than 100 riders and was greeted with beautiful A-Framing waves in the 5-6' range. Morey's own Chris Monroe narrowly won the Open Pro division, just edging out the stacked east coast contingent. Big thanks to Ricky Miller for putting on a wonderful event. This is an video interview we did on our San Diego rider Mike Lepiere. Know for his outgoing personality and wonderful hairdos, Mike is a dominant force in the water representing SD bodyboarding to the fullest. It was big news when Morey finally signed super grom John "BEANS" Porzuczek to the team and when he joined the team, we did a cool little mock press conference since it was a slow day around the Morey compound. Expect to see more of "BEANS" in the future!!! |
