It's official: Pierre-Louis Costes has secured his fourth Sintra Pro victory, placing him alongside Uri Valadão in the elite group of four-time Sintra champions. After clinching the win in 2024, Pierre has now added another jewel to his remarkable career, marking his first major victory since joining the Morey Bodyboards team earlier this year.

Competing on the familiar waves of Praia Grande, just a few hours from his home in Portugal, Pierre used his home advantage to full effect, delivering an awe-inspiring performance. His latest victory follows his previous wins at Sintra in 2012, 2015, and 2022, further establishing his legacy at one of the most prestigious stops on the IBC World Tour.

Facing off against Valadão, Pierre demonstrated the type of grit, skill, and tactical prowess that have earned him multiple world championships. The final battle was a nail-biter, with both athletes giving it their all, but Pierre’s edge in precision and timing earned him the ultimate prize.

What makes this win particularly special is that it’s Pierre’s first victory as a Morey team rider. After a 14-year-long partnership with Pride Bodyboards, the 2x world champion has found a new home with Morey, and his immediate success is a sign of great things to come. Riding his signature Morey Mach 7-7 board, which was specially designed after months of testing and refinement, Pierre has once again proven why he’s one of the most respected bodyboarders in the world.
